Our Story
India to me has always been a land of beauty, history, and adventure ever since I was a little girl. After visiting several times throughout my young adulthood, my husband and I decided to take a gap year or two and move to the Himalayan mountains in 2019. We studied the local language, made friends, learned about the culture, and drank LOTS of tea.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we returned back to the States in 2020; but as we watched the devastating toll that disease took on the country we loved, we decided we wanted to do whatever we could to help.
Enter: Cup of Tea Tours.
Our desire is to introduce individuals and groups from the US to the amazing culture that we've come to know and love. We believe that India isn't meant to just be visited or photographed...it's meant to be experienced. And what better way then by doing just what we did: meeting people, learning about the cultural history, and having conversations over MANY cups of tea.
So, are you ready for an adventure that might change your life forever? Come experience Himalayan culture with us!
